El Cajon (Spanish for The Box) is an active community with large shopping center, a Performing arts center and a quaint downtown assortment of shops and businesses. There are frequent community activities plus a weekly farmers market and vintage car show. El Cajon is nestled in the County of San Diego offering everything from Mountains to Ocean, and Desert to Mexico with what some would argue as the best weather in the northern hemisphere. Benefiting from the mild winters here there are continuous activities to enjoy here and is full of perfect getaways for relaxing. There is a small airport a few miles away.
